As an autonomous public law institution, ECAB is responsible for insuring all buildings in the canton of Fribourg and for contributing to the prevention and combating of fires and natural hazards. It currently insures more than 125,000 buildings with an insured value of 118 billion Swiss francs. Our employees are specialists in the areas of operations, prevention, claims management and expertise, as well as specialists in IT, human resources, finance, and communications.
