Fred Tschanz Gastgewerbe comprises five businesses in Zurich city center. The portfolio ranges from the legendary ODEON to the Walhalla Hotel incl. Guest House at the main railway station and the self-check-in hotel Alpine Rooms. Annual highlights include the Dining Experience The5 and the popular Fonduetram.
Since 2012, the family business has been in the hands of Domenic Zembrod and Stéphanie Portmann, the granddaughter of the then founder Fred Tschanz. In the past, as today, the company's management has focused on high quality standards and social responsibility. The Fred Tschanz Foundation for needy children and young people in the region is a cross-generational project close to the company's heart.

We hold regular workshops to evaluate the implementation of our vision, strategy and philosophy. The flow of information in both directions is fundamental to this: from the team to the management and vice versa.
