IBI is the reliable energy and water supplier for the tourist region between Lakes Thun and Brienz.
We supply around 16,000 local customers and numerous guests with electricity, gas and drinking water. We produce around 15 percent of our electricity requirements with our own hydropower plants and photovoltaic systems, and we promote the production and use of local energy in the region through our shareholdings.
In addition to energy supply, we offer comprehensive energy services for the entire Oberland Ost region. We promote the responsible use of resources through public relations work and a commitment to sustainability. Our team of over 50 dedicated employees is our greatest asset, which we value and promote in a targeted manner.
