KiBiZ Kinderbetreuung Zug - an institution of the Gemeinnützige Gesellschaft Zug (GGZ) - has been working on a non-profit basis since 1975 to provide needs-based and affordable supplementary childcare in the city and canton of Zug. KiBiZ offers around 280 places for babies and toddlers up to and including kindergarten in daycare centers (Kitas) at nine locations. A further 250 childcare places for children from 3 months to 12 years are available in the approximately 100 KiBiZ daycare families. The focus is on high educational quality. As a leading institution in supplementary childcare, KiBiZ enjoys the trust of many generations of parents and the Zug municipalities. KiBiZ is a member of kibesuisse, the Swiss Childcare Association.

I completed my training at KiBiZ Kita Eichwald in 2016 and was then able to join KiBiZ Kita Chriesimatt as an educator. I stayed with KiBiZ out of conviction. In the meantime, I was able to take over the management of the daycare center. In order to acquire the necessary specialist know-how, I am training to become a qualified childhood educator HF at the Höhere Fachschule Kindheitspädagogik with the support of my employer.

KiBiZ received the GPTW award thanks to the great approval of many satisfied employees. This fills the management with joy and shows that we are on the right track with our focus on pedagogical quality, sound training and progressive working conditions. The good result is all the more pleasing as the young childcare sector has great potential for development. In the interests of our employees, we will continue to campaign for improvements, particularly for better resources.
