With its modern store network, Lidl Switzerland has an increasingly dense presence in the Swiss market. Since entering the market in 2009, Lidl Switzerland has grown strongly year on year. Currently, more than 4,500 employees work for Lidl - with new ones joining every month. Lidl Switzerland has been a member of the Swiss Retail Federation since November 2014.
Our product range comprises around 2,000 everyday items. The Swiss origin of our products is very important to us: we generate over 50% of our sales with products from Switzerland. The range is complemented by a high-quality, fresh selection of fruit, vegetables and bread in the open shop as well as dairy products. Our weekly promotions with selected non-food and electronic items round off our range.

In selected stores, the entire team is replaced by our apprentices, with you taking over store management in the final year of your apprenticeship. At the end of the week, you hand the stores back to the teams and look back on a successful project week at the joint final event.
