The Lindenhof Group 

The Lindenhof Group is one of the country's leading listed hospitals with private sponsorship and is the largest private employer in Bern. Its three hospitals, Engeried, Lindenhof and Sonnenhof, treat over 154,000 patients a year, of which over 27,000 are inpatients. The group employs around 2400 staff.

Structures anchored in practice, continuous training and further training of trainers and a modern training concept ensure high training quality.   

Investing in training is our investment in the future. We provide trainees with targeted support and encourage them to develop their individual strengths. By promoting young talent in a targeted manner, we are able to keep many apprentices and students in our company after they have completed their training. We offer them a wide range of development and career opportunities. 

We do this for good reason: the well-trained specialists who enjoy their profession ensure the high quality of care in our hospitals, for which we are renowned, in the long term. 

This also led to apprentices from the Lindenhof Group successfully taking part in the Bern Vocational Championships for the third time in a row and subsequently qualifying for the SwissSkills Championships. Last time at the SwissSkills Championship 2022.
