It's all a question of perspective. Obwaldner Kantonalbank is one of the smaller cantonal banks. We are the largest in our home market. As a company, we strive for profitability and profit. But as part of society, we see it as our duty to act ecologically, socially and ethically.

Strongly committed as a training company

We have been committed to strong vocational training for years. It is a central element of our HR policy. Providing young people with good vocational training is very important to us. In addition to technical know-how, we give our apprentices ideas for their personal development. We are currently training a total of 17 apprentices in four different professions: Management Assistant, IT Specialist, Office Assistant and, since August 2020, a Mediamatician.

We tackle "Midänand"

We live an authentic corporate culture across all hierarchical levels. Working together is important to us. As a company with employees from four generations, we create platforms to promote the mutual transfer of knowledge. At the Digi-Café, for example, the youngest generation passes on digital tips and tricks to the other generations. A win-win situation!
