Psychiatry St. Gallen

We are a public-law specialist institution for psychosomatics, psychiatry and psychotherapy based in Pfäfers.

We offer outreach, outpatient, day-clinic and inpatient treatment services. Our diagnostic and therapeutic measures are primarily geared towards the needs of the people affected by the illness and their environment. We work in a relationship-, task- and goal-oriented manner. Patients are taken seriously in their experience of their illness and motivated to contribute their experiences and ideas to the treatment. Our psychiatric care is recovery-oriented. Around 9000 patients make use of our services every year.

We employ 580 people at five locations. Apprentices can develop positively in our motivating training culture and get involved, which leads to a greater willingness to perform.
