Public transport in the Lausanne region (tl) uses a wide range of skills to operate a network of buses, trains and metros over 260 km long, 7 days a week. The workforce includes more than 800 drivers, but 47 other professional groups are involved in providing the service to over 300,000 people.
As a public sector company, tl also attaches great importance to training young people. Every year, they support around sixty apprentices and trainees in acquiring skills and a professional attitude. The field of local public transport is constantly evolving. At tl, trainees and interns are involved in the realization of varied and exciting future projects. During their training, they benefit from the latest technologies and innovative approaches to work.
