As experts in workplace culture, we talk to managers every day about what employees want and what makes a good employer. But what about our own culture? Are we like the shoemaker who walks around with soldered shoes?
Our vision is very clear: "We want to be a great employer for ourselves"
That is why we are giving you a little insight into our culture on this page:
We have been self-organized since 2018. The decision to do so was made because we had no desire for hierarchy and management (and still don't). We are all well-educated adults who are intrinsically motivated to perform well.
On the one hand, this form of organization allows all employees to contribute their strengths and develop their full potential. At the same time, it makes us agile and enables us to adapt quickly to changes.
In our blog, we explain the process leading up to self-organization, our current structure and how we work together:
An important element of our self-organization is radical transparency. Only if all employees have access to all information can they act independently and take responsibility. At the same time, we give our employees our full trust and in turn receive a great deal of trust back from them.
In this lecture Patrick Mollet and Tobias Véronwhat radical transparency looks like in practice:
If there are no bosses, who decides the salary? It was clear to us that this also had to be a team decision. In addition, our team bonus is linked to the company's profit, so salary increases have a direct impact on the bonus of all employees.
As we don't believe in complicated salary models, we have opted for the concept of "self-set salaries". In this video, we explain how this works for us:
Of course we carry our Employee Survey even with ourselves. And no, not everything is perfect here either.

We see the value in taking time to reflect on ourselves and our organization. We do this in a curious and open way to inspire our customers. In doing so, we are inspired by the organizations we work with. By remaining curious and continuously developing our skills, we are competent partners for our clients.
At Great Place To Work, we have the courage to take our culture and organization to the next level. We challenge the status quo and are not afraid to set aside what works well to create something even better that aligns with our values and our vision for the future of work.
We are brave enough to give our customers open and honest feedback. Our goal is to help them build a successful workplace culture based on trust.
We are a team. We look out for each other and stand up for each other. And we make an effort to really recognize the contributions and commitment of others. We recognize interfaces and create spaces for dialogue. We show appreciation and understanding for each other. At Great Place To Work, we can be ourselves.
At Great Place To Work, we don't take ourselves too seriously. We believe that fun is key to fostering a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, both for us and for our customers. We take a light-hearted approach that keeps us motivated and innovative.
At Great Place To Work, we are responsible and transparent in all our actions. We act as we would expect others to act. Integrity and ethical behavior are fundamental values that guide everything we do.
Apropos: In these videos we explain what the process for developing the values looked like, why they are these particular values and what they mean for us in concrete terms.
