A smiling man holding a cup of coffee in a modern office symbolizes positive work culture and employee satisfaction at Great Place to Work Switzerland.

Why is workplace culture important and what makes you an expert in this field?

Because I worked for a company that had a really bad culture. I spent 2 1/2 years working for a company that had a terrible culture, or worse, a good culture but only for some of the employees. This had a huge impact on my mental health and made me say to myself, "work life can't be like this", which led me to pursue a Master's degree on workplace wellbeing, with my thesis specifically centered around this topic. Now that I've landed where culture is nurtured, I see the difference and can use the knowledge I've gained in my studies, private experiences and of course in the GPTW community to help organizations create a culture that makes work life enjoyable.
