What makes a workplace truly excellent? To get to the bottom of this question, we worked with over 280 organizations and surveyed more than 64,500 employees. The result: 225 organizations were awarded the Zertifiziert™ label as an outstanding workplace. 75 of them are even among the Best Workplaces™ Switzerland 2025 - divided into five size categories from Micro (10-19 employees) to Large (250+ employees).
What is particularly striking is that the Trust Index™ for the award-winning companies averages 87 % - 24 percentage points above the Swiss benchmark. This shows how strongly trust in their own organization is anchored in these employers.

A cultural change in the world of work
This year's analysis reveals an exciting change: while pride in the workplace remains important, topics such as fairness, emotional well-being and a deep sense of belonging are becoming increasingly important. The Best Workplaces™ manage to support employees not only factually, but also emotionally. They focus on fair treatment, innovative leadership and a people-centered corporate culture.
These experiences pay off: They strengthen loyalty, promote resilience and motivate people to develop with their company in the long term.
Top values in key areas
Compared to the Swiss average, the Best Workplaces™ 2025 achieve significantly better results in all size categories and sectors - often 20 to 30 percentage points higher. Particularly noteworthy are:
- Fair payment
- Psychological safety
- Willingness to change
- Clarity in leadership
- A shared sense of achievement
These companies show impressively that fairness and belonging are not "goodies", but decisive success factors for commitment, low fluctuation, strong employer brands and a real competitive advantage in the battle for talent.
